Job summary

The Chicago School is seeking a Student Support Counselor to provide student-centered advising and support. You will help with registration, academic progress tracking, and policy guidance across campuses in a hybrid on-campus/remote setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, excel in communication, and can manage time and relationships effectively to support student retention and success. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and relevant student services experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for a student-facing role.
• Proficiency with standard office software and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for students and provide advising support.
• Assist with registration, progress checks, and academic forms processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Academic, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Accounts teams.
