Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of full-time or equivalent experience providing services directly to students in a student services area in a higher education or high school setting.
• Master’s degree and one year of full-time or equivalent experience providing services directly to students in a student services area in a higher education or high school setting.
• Experience planning, organizing, and implementing educational programs and services.
• Experience maintaining documentation of services.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic advising in multiple modalities from enrollment through faculty assignment; include enrollment, program choice, course planning, registration help, and follow-up on early alerts.
• Advisors may lead in assigned career fields and coordinate with department chairs to ensure program-aligned advising.
• Provides CCP advising and registration services in compliance with NCCCS CCP regulations and maintains required documentation.
• Serves as CCP recruiter at high school events and participates in open houses, workshops, and campus tours.
