Savannah Technical College seeks a Coordinator for Accessibility and Retention to lead accessibility services, promote student success, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to remove barriers, coordinate interventions, and improve enrollment and completion outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing programs, conducting trainings, and leveraging data to drive improvements, while coordinating with Academic Affairs and Enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in accessibility services, student affairs, retention, advising, counseling, or related higher education setting.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate accessibility services, accommodations, and support programs for students with disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, Section 504, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate retention, persistence, and student success initiatives.
• Monitor student performance, attendance, and academic progress; identify at-risk students and coordinate interventions.
• Coordinate early alert efforts and provide coaching, advocacy, and resource referrals.
• Utilize data to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend improvements to programs.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Services, and community partners to provide comprehensive support.
• Develop training materials and programs related to accessibility, retention, and student success.
• Plan and deliver workshops and professional development for faculty, staff, and students.
• Assist with strategic planning, grant initiatives, and reporting related to accessibility and student success.
• Represent the College on committees related to accessibility and student success.
