Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking a Coordinator for Accessibility and Retention to lead accessibility services and drive student success across Coastal Georgia. The role focuses on removing barriers, ensuring disability compliance, and coordinating interventions to boost enrollment, progress, and graduation.

You will collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Enrollment Services, and community partners to develop programs, assess outcomes, and deliver training for faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with two years in accessibility services, student affairs, retention, advising, counseling, academic support, or related higher education setting.
• Experience with accessibility services, disability regulations, and student support practices is preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Strong collaboration with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Enrollment Services, faculty and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility services, accommodations, and support programs for students with disabilities.
• Ensure ADA/504 compliance and applicable regulations.
• Develop retention and student success initiatives to improve enrollment and completion.
• Monitor student performance and coordinate interventions for at-risk students.
• Coordinate early alert, case management, coaching, and referrals to support student success.
• Collaborate across departments to provide comprehensive support services.
• Develop policies, training materials, and educational programs on accessibility and retention.
• Plan workshops and professional development for faculty, staff, and students.
• Support strategic planning, reporting, and special projects in accessibility and student success.
