Job summary

Wichita State University seeks a student assistant software engineer to assist in both administrative and technical tasks within Integra Technologies. Qualifications

MS Office applications and ability to use common software tools.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material and journals.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals for networks, PCs, OS, and related materials.
Ability to interface effectively with other departments and management.

Responsibilities

Provide enhancements and bug fixes for OMS and related database interfaces.
Includes PL/SQL, Python, Perl, Java, and shell scripts.
Support personal computers and related peripherals in a professional manner.
Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure; perform upgrades and monitor for potential issues.
Install upgrades and configure network printing, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes and improve existing computer systems.
Provide IT support for all systems in production areas, including printers, networking, tablets, and Windows-based systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
