Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking a customer service professional to support Midlands Technical College Harbison Campus. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service to students and staff across phone, in-person, and written channels.

Responsibilities include assisting with student registration, payments, and financial arrangements, while maintaining professional communications to resolve inquiries and provide timely solutions at multiple campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two (2) years of relevant customer service experience; or a high school diploma and three (3) years of relevant customer service experience.
• Must demonstrate the highest level of customer service skills and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Able to absorb a large amount of detailed information and apply knowledge quickly.
• Willing and able to work at any campus or location as needed (including weekend events).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers via telephone, written, and in-person interactions.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls; respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Assist customers and staff with student registration, payment processing, and financial arrangements.
• Communicate professionally to ensure a positive customer experience.
