Job summary

North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, seeks a Student Services Specialist to coordinate operations for the clinic and student programs. You will act as a primary contact for students, staff, and partners, ensuring smooth daily workflow and data integrity.

You will assist with program budgets, travel reimbursements, and certification processes under university policies, while mentoring student workers and promoting service excellence across campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of budget, grant management and program administration.
• Experience coordinating workflows in a fast-paced academic environment.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for students and campus partners; manages workflow in the clinic setting.
• Coordinate event dates, travel arrangements and program schedules for clinic offerings.
• Monitor budgets, prepare spending reports, and ensure compliance with FERPA/HIPAA.
• Support faculty and supervise work-study students to meet program goals.
• Maintain case management and client data with confidentiality and accuracy.
