Job summary

The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) seeks a Student Services Specialist to support the Early College Program at Glendale Community College. The role delivers direct student services, outreach, and problem resolution to promote enrollment and retention of high school students.

The Specialist will help with program evaluation, workshops, and collaboration with internal and external partners to advance college access and student success.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and one year full-time student services or related experience.
• Equivalent combination of degree and related full-time work experience may be considered.
• Experience in advising, financial aid, or outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student service delivery, problem resolution, and technical assistance.
• Support enrollment initiatives and serve as liaison with high schools and community partners.
• Develop and implement programming (workshops) and events to support student development.
• Assist with evaluation of criteria for program eligibility and maintain records.
• Assist with orientation, recruitment, placement testing, and retention activities.
