Job summary

San Diego State University invites applications for the Assistant Coordinator for the Women’s Resource Center (WRC). You will support daily operations, programming, and student engagement, guiding students from diverse and historically underrepresented communities.

Working with the WRC Director, you will help maintain an inclusive space, coordinate events and outreach, update website and newsletters, and collaborate with campus partners to promote wellbeing, belonging, and student success.

Qualifications

• Organizational skills for calendars, front desk coverage, and inquiries.
• Experience coordinating engaging programs, trainings, events, or activities.

• Experience creating or updating social media, newsletters, or outreach materials.
• Flexibility to support evening or weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily WRC operations, including front desk coverage and schedules.
• Support established educational, cultural, wellness, and affinity programs.
• Collaborate with campus partners to provide programs focused on academic success, leadership, wellness, equity, and belonging.
• Maintain the WRC website, social media, newsletters, and event calendars.
• Assist with supporting student assistants and volunteers with planning and operations.
• Coordinate with SDSU centers and community organizations for programs and outreach.
• Help coordinate event logistics, attendance tracking, and program assessments.
