Job summary

Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City (MCC) seeks incumbents to provide basic information and services to students and prospective students in support of the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center, a federally funded grant program, and to perform clerical duties. This limited-duration position ends no later than August 31, 2031, but may be extended based upon funding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and record-keeping practices.
• Familiarity with data entry and computer software.
• Ability to assist students and staff with clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to prospective and current students on admissions, financial aid, and services.
• Assist students with documentation, scheduling, and referrals to departments.
• Maintain records, call sheets, forms, and data related to test scores and finances.
• Perform basic clerical duties and manage room reservations and calendars.
• Support events by distributing materials and coordinating invitations and reminders.
• Highlight department events with campus displays and marketing materials.
