Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a current UK student for an off-campus retail position in Lexington. You will greet customers, promote Pandora products, and aim to exceed sales goals using SPARK selling methods and strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities include engaging shoppers, introducing product categories, supporting promotions, and maintaining visual standards. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to provide proof of identity and eligibility to work (in US postings).
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (exceeding 30 minutes).

Responsibilities

  • Introduce shoppers to product categories to build brand loyalty and maximize sales results.
  • Maintain awareness of shoppers to deliver a world-class shopping experience and deter loss prevention.
  • Complete Pandora product knowledge training to drive sales.
  • Display personal accountability in achieving sales and KPI targets.
  • Be aware of product launches and promotions; support company initiatives.
  • Cultivate a solid customer base through engagement and relationship building.
  • Perform Open/Close Checklist duties including balancing/filling trays, trash, and cleaning.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and pricing; maintain pricing.
  • Execute visual refreshes and uphold cleaning standards.
  • Participate in social media creative/execution.
  • Attend all scheduled shifts to ensure coverage to meet company objectives.

Job Summary


You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.
Job duties include:

  • Greet and engage every client in a welcoming manner Achieve and exceed sales goals utilizing Pandora’s specialized selling model ( SPARK ) and product knowledge

  • Introduce shoppers to multiple categories of product to build brand loyalty and maximize sales results

  • Always maintain a keen awareness of shoppers, to both deliver a world class shopping experience and control loss prevention.

  • Complete Pandora product knowledge training ( LINK ) to leverage driving sales

  • Display personal accountability in achieving and exceeding sales and KPI targets

  • Be aware of current product launches and promotions, support company initiatives

  • Cultivate a solid customer/client base through customer engagement and build relationships

  • Perform Open/Close Checklist duties including but not limited to balancing/filling trays, running trash & cleaning

  • Participate in visual directives in accordance with company product launches, including setting trays, walls, and zones; maintain pricing

  • Execute visual refreshes and uphold exceptional cleaning standards

  • Participate in social media creative/execution

  • Attend all scheduled shifts to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives
