Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience coaching, advising, or counseling.
• Administrative skills including developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures.
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration skills.
• Strong people skills with leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Goodwill values in all interactions.
• Mentor students and coordinate with faculty, admissions, and student services to provide support.
• Lead retention efforts by organizing meetings and reporting data on retention and progression.
• Monitor attendance and identify at-risk students to support timely interventions.
• Outreach to students via phone, email, or LMS to build advising relationships.
• Check-ins with advisees to provide guidance, communicate policies, and evaluate progress.
• Support online learners by identifying challenges and coordinating with instructional design and faculty.
• Coordinate referrals to campus or community resources and ensure follow-up.
• Collaborate with registrar, faculty, Career Services, Admissions to align retention strategies.
• Serve as Chair of the Graduation Committee and coordinate commencement planning.
