Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Student Engagement Coach at the Excel Center to advocate for students, maintain a caseload of 65–80, and help remove barriers to learning. You will build relationships, track data, and connect students with resources to support graduation and postsecondary success.

The role requires strong communication, data management, and the ability to triage student needs, with occasional local travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 10 years equivalent experience.
• 2 years' experience in social work, counseling, advising or related field.
• Experience working with at-risk students in a nontraditional setting and/or in adult education setting highly preferred.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong meeting facilitation skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, School Information Management System, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and track student data to monitor progress.
• Guide students in problem-solving and overcoming obstacles.
• Support student success through tutoring and coordination with staff.
• Attend team and professional development meetings.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance and campus presence.
• Coordinate community resources and partnerships to support students.
