Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking Student Employees for the Adult Resource Center at the Downtown Campus. This pooled position remains open for the 2026–2027 academic year, with review of applications as positions become available.

Roles involve welcoming students and community members, guiding resource navigation, and supporting communications, pantry operations, and outreach. Regular on-campus presence is required; flexible or hybrid schedules may be approved by the College.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and actively attending required LCC credits per semester.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA unless exempted for first semester.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a certificate, associate, or undergraduate degree at LCC.
• International students must meet USCIS credit requirements each term.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, student-centered support to students, employees and community members seeking information, services and resources.
• Assist with resource navigation and referrals, data entry and outreach activities.
• Support student food pantry operations and department communications.
• Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, sound judgment and confidentiality.
