Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking a Student Employee for the Media and Art Resource Center. This role includes assisting in CMA classrooms, providing excellent support to students and faculty, and maintaining classroom equipment. Regular on-campus presence is expected, and candidates must be enrolled and actively attending classes at LCC.

The position is part-time, allowing up to 25 hours per week, and requires a minimum GPA of 2.00. Candidates will be subject to a background check.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least 6.0 credits per semester or 3.0 credits in summer at LCC.
• Minimum 2.00 GPA, unless approved.
• International students must meet specific credit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CMA classrooms and programs.
• Provide customer service and support.
• Maintain classroom equipment and records.

Skills

Timely completion of projects

Familiarity with department’s computer classroom

Experience with computers (Windows & Mac OS)

Knowledge in Art and Design areas

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Actively pursuing a certificate, associates, or undergraduate degree
