Job summary

North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University seeks an Academic Reengagement & Programs Coordinator to administer readmission, reengagement, and onboarding initiatives within the Office of the Registrar. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in higher education preferred.
• Experience interpreting policies, reviewing academic records, coordinating student-facing programs, and working across University units to resolve student issues.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner or comparable SIS preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer readmission and student reengagement processes, including receipt and processing of applications, review of required documentation, monitoring of outstanding requirements, and coordination of follow-up to support timely re-enrollment.
• Coordinate Registrar-related activities for designated special programs and re-onboarding initiatives, including participant tracking, timelines, required documentation, student outreach, and coordination with University partners.
• Track application status, participation, processing timelines, and enrollment outcomes; maintain program records and reports; identify gaps, delays, or recurring issues; and recommend improvements to workflows, procedures, and service delivery.
• Maintain proficiency in transfer articulation, graduation services, academic records, and registration processes and provide knowledgeable support during peak processing periods, staff absences, and other operational needs.
• Participate in University recruitment, retention, and reengagement initiatives by outreach activities, information sessions, and other initiatives.
