Job summary

Project Kitty Hawk, Inc. is seeking a Re-Enrollment Specialist to lead outreach to students who paused their degree progress, guiding them toward readmission pathways within UNC System institutions.

You will call, text, and email targeted stopped-out students, conduct discovery conversations, and coordinate warm handoffs to campus contacts. You will manage a CRM-based pipeline, track contact outcomes, and monitor key metrics to optimize engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years in higher education admissions, advising, re-enrollment, or equivalent outbound outreach experience.
• Experience with readmission or registrar processes, adult learners, or UNC System preferred.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and persistent outreach.
• Ability to apply differing policies across multiple institutions.
• Strong listening skills and ability to build trust with students.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume outbound contact (call, text, email) to stopped-out students.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand reasons for stopping out and goals.
• Guide students to the appropriate readmission pathway and campuses.
• Maintain and track data in the CRM with accurate dispositions and destinations.
• Monitor metrics and adjust campaigns to improve results.
• Nurture previously completers to gather feedback on experiences and outcomes.
• Develop knowledge of UNC System readmission policies and timelines.
• Collaborate with PKH Marketing, Operations, and Analytics on campaigns.
