Job summary

CNM Central New Mexico Community College invites applications for a Student Recruitment Specialist to develop strategies that attract and enroll prospective students across diverse demographics, including dual credit, first-time freshmen, transfers, and returning students.

Under the Student Recruitment Manager, you will conduct presentations, coordinate on- and off-campus events, maintain detailed records, and contribute to orientation programs and outreach efforts at CNM's campuses in New

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Two years related experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists and maintains communication with prospective students throughout the admissions application and onboarding process; answers questions and conducts presentations for CNM programs.
• Promotes activities to enhance student enrollment and coordinates on- and off-campus recruitment.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with staff and faculty to disseminate CNM information for recruitment and orientation; builds relationships with schools and community organizations.
• Responds to requests for information, conducts presentations, and performs data entry and retrieval.
• Maintains internal records and reports, including recruitment activities and monthly reports.
• May assist with New Student Orientation presentations and online orientations; updates existing orientations.
• Performs self-assessment and related research for recruitment and outreach efforts.
• Attends and supports on- and off-campus events, including campus tours.
• Presents content to diverse groups, including potential students, employers, and community leaders.
• Represents CNM at public events and may work outside regular hours; participates on committees.
