Job summary

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) seeks an energetic Admissions Counselor to build recruitment pipelines, guide students through admissions, and partner with high schools and community groups across the Treasure Valley and beyond.

This full-time role emphasizes relationship-building, outreach, event coordination, and data-driven student support, with evening and regional travel expected as part of the position.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a community college setting or similar environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (Ellucian Colleague) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build recruitment pipelines and partnerships with high schools, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
• Guide students through admissions, onboarding, and use of college resources.
• Coordinate recruitment events, campus visits, and Open Houses.
• Manage recruitment operations and student data in CRM and SIS systems.
• Collaborate with Admissions, One Stop, and Enrollment & Student Services teams to support student success.
