Kent State University is hiring an Academic Records and Transfer Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of student records, from transfer credit articulation through permanent record retention. The coordinator evaluates externally earned credits and keeps records compliant with university, state, and federal policies, including FERPA and Ohio Department of Higher Education requirements.

The role also serves as a primary liaison for students, faculty, and staff on enrollment and record transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong data entry, spreadsheet, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in registrar office or record-keeping preferred.
• Understanding of FERPA and higher-ed policies.
• Attention to data accuracy and audit readiness.

Responsabilités

• Manage lifecycle of student records from transfer credit articulation to permanent record retention.
• Evaluate externally earned credits and advise on transferability across campuses.
• Process and research academic records under university, state, and federal policies.
• Maintain data integrity and documentation for audits.
