Galen College of Nursing in Richardson, TX is seeking a Registrar Service Specialist to provide consistent, friendly support to students, faculty and staff and help maintain academic records in line with college policies.

You will verify enrollment requirements, assist with readmissions, communicate status changes, ensure compliance with catalog and procedures, and collaborate with Academic Leadership and Student Success teams to help students progress.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or progress toward degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in college/academic setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague, Canvas, Unitime, and Verified Credentials is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality student service in registration and academic records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of records.
• Verify enrollment/admission requirements, including background checks and test thresholds.
• Assist readmission students and notify students of status changes (probation, dismissals, etc.).
• Collaborate with campus teams to meet student needs as assigned by the Registrar.
• Monitor student compliance and assist with scheduling and documentation for clinical courses.
• Prepare reports and analyses on enrollment, attendance, grades, and related data for Academic Leadership.
