Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Registrar Services Specialist to provide friendly support to students, faculty and staff while maintaining accurate academic records and enforcing college policies. You will verify enrollment requirements, assist with readmissions, and support departments with data and reporting.

The role emphasizes student-centered service, confidential records management, and collaboration with campus teams to ensure a smooth student experience and successful progression

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in college or academic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of student systems such as Ellucian Colleague and Canvas.
• Ability to enforce policies and maintain confidential student records.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality student service in registration and academic records.
• Notify students of changes to status (probation, dismissal).
• Assist in intake, transfer credit, prereqs, and readmission processing.
• Monitor compliance with policies and required documentation for clinical/participation.
• Support Academic Leadership with reports on enrollment, attendance, grades, and other data.
• Coordinate with Student Success to ensure student resources and success.
• Attend campus events such as orientation, open house, and graduation.
