Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Registrar for East Valley Academy to maintain accurate student records in a computerized system and to retrieve and convey information to appropriate parties.

This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a base hourly wage of $19.89, benefits including sick leave, holidays, retirement matching with ASRS, health and life insurance, and annual performance pay.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency to include basic software applications (Word, Excel); experience with district-based student database Synergy.

Responsibilities

• Extensive telephone contact with parents and general public.
• Work closely with teachers and counselors; scheduling with special education and registrar.
• Record grades, Arizona reading, math and writing requirements and credits for ninth graders.
• Compile weekly enrollment reports.
• Implement the registration process of new students and withdrawal of all students.
• Maintain boundary exception forms; keep records and complete required reports.
• Train and supervise registration assistant; ensure regular and on-time attendance.
