Job summary

The Basement Brewhaus Promotions and Events Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is a student hourly role handling promotional tasks, social media content, and event coordination for a year-long program of activities.

You will set up sound/lighting and negotiate artist contracts, reporting to the Basement Brewhaus Student Manager and campus activity leads. This position requires active enrollment and campus presence.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work minimum 15 hours per week and attend staff meetings and events.
• Must supervise and work without direct supervision.
• Must complete PCI Compliance Training within 8 weeks of starting.
• Must obtain Portage County Operator's License within first semester.

Responsibilities

• Promote Basement Brewhaus services to the campus community and coordinate events.
• Set up soundboard, lights, and microphones for events.
• Negotiate performance contracts with artists and ensure rider terms are met.
• Collaborate with UC marketing and Brewhaus staff for promotions and advertising.
• Maintain and post events on SPIN Experience and manage audio/visual equipment.
