Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point is seeking a Student Event Staff – Setup & Teardown to support Gameday and athletics events. You will help prepare and break down athletic and special events, ensuring facilities are safe, organized, and ready for competition.

Under the direction of Student Event Leads and Athletics staff, you'll gain hands-on experience in event operations, teamwork, time management, and athletic facility management, while adhering to university policies and NCAA Division

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and accountability.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, staff, and community members.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and teardown of athletic competitions and special events.
• Coordinate equipment, signage, barricades, and seating to match event specs.
• Support facility operations and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Work with Event Leads to ensure safe, organized event spaces.
• Maintain spaces clean and event-ready.
