Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington seeks a Part-Time Student Project Assistant to support Building Maintenance, Landscape Service, and Building Services. You will enter asset data, collect field information, and help develop annual repair schedules while assisting the call center with inquiries.

The role requires current IU enrollment, strong project management basics, and excellent communication. Work hours are 16–20 weekly with a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM office window.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
• Project management experience.
• Technical skills with modern office environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service orientation.
• Strong organizational and load-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry of physical assets into asset management software.
• Collects data from shop supervisors and enters data into preventative maintenance templates.
• Assists in developing the annual repair and replacement schedule.
• Assist Facility Operations Call Center as needed with answering phones and processing customer requests.
• Assists in developing annual event SOPs for Facility Operations (e.g., Little 500 setup/tear down, Memorial Stadium prep and winterization).
• Assists in updating building sign condition assessment.
• Develops schedule for power washing building exteriors.
• May assist with other projects as they arise.
