Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator to coordinate student engagement, recruitment, and professional development initiatives funded through CSTEP. You will manage day-to-day operations, supervise student organizations, and oversee events to strengthen community and professional readiness among medical students.

The role reports to the Senior Program Manager for Engagement, Mentoring, and Professional Development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of three years of experience in higher education, student affairs, program coordination, or related field.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and time management skills.
Experience planning events or programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with survey or data tools such as Qualtrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Independently manage logistics for recruitment events, webinars, fairs, and campus visits.
Coordinate student engagement initiatives and advisement for student organizations.
Plan and execute conferences, events, and professional development activities.
Collaborate across Education, Faculty, and Academic Affairs to design joint programming.
Track funding requests and evaluate program outcomes for reporting.
