Job summary

Antelope Valley College District (AVC) seeks a skilled outreach liaison to coordinate recruitment and community engagement efforts, working with high schools, campus and local organizations to promote college programs and services.

You will plan and execute campus and community events, deliver presentations, manage communications, and support enrollment initiatives with a focus on diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing outreach strategies.
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of recruitment and marketing within education contexts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students and community partners.
• Familiarity with coordinating events and campus initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and organize student and community events and activities.
• Assist in promoting AVC to high schools and community groups.
• Coordinate dissemination of program information and financial aid details to diverse populations.
• Serve as liaison between prospective students, current students and AVC departments.
• Travel within service area and attend community events and meetings.
