Long Beach Community College District seeks an Outreach and Recruitment Specialist to represent the College at local schools and community groups. The role plans events, coordinates campus tours, and hosts day activities; you will respond to visitation requests and help create marketing materials for outreach programs.

Evening/weekend events are included as needed. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with experience in education and may benefit from Spanish language skills;

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of progressively responsible experience working in an educational setting with a diverse student population.
• Ability to speak, write, and read in Spanish is highly desired.
• Experience evaluated on the basis of a verifiable 35-hour week; prorated part-time experience may be acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Represent the College at local K-12 schools, community organizations and the general public.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in events and activities at local schools; host campus tours for partners.
• Host events in the evenings and/or weekends; develop and oversee outreach program materials; participate in orientation activities.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree + 1 year experience in education

Spanish language ability desired
