Job summary

The University of North Texas is seeking a Coordinator of Student Organizations (Event Services) to oversee event consultation and management for over 450 student organizations. You will collaborate with another coordinator to support student involvement and campus programming.

Responsibilities include advising officers and members, coordinating training, planning involvement fairs, managing Eagle Mail, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of student services or related experience.
• Commitment to student development and event planning within a campus setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Event Application process for student organizations.
• Advise officers, members and advisors on event planning.
• Adjudicate violations of event procedures and assign sanctions.
• Coordinate training and services for event planning and management.
• Co-train and supervise a graduate assistant.
• Maintain program webpages and provide information on policies and procedures.
• Plan involvement fairs and campus events such as Mean Green Spring Fling.
• Prepare and monitor budgets for programs and services.
• Develop reports and promote Student Activities on campus.
