Job summary

Case Western Reserve University’s Sears think[box] invites applications for the UGEN (Student) Operations Assistant. This student role supports daily desk operations and serves as the first contact for visitors, helping maintain smooth think[box] workflows.

Responsibilities include assisting with Airtable data cleanup and automation updates, managing equipment inventories, updating documentation in Google Suite, and coordinating with makerspace staff to improve systems for users.

Qualifications

• Work-Study status is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Cover day-to-day operations for the Welcome Desk, as needed.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors entering Sears think[box].
• Support the Operations Manager with projects pertaining to facility and systems needs.
• Co-managing Airtable data clean-up and updating interfaces/automations
• Tracking, updating, and maintaining various electronics and technical equipment
• Cleaning up operations documentation and Google Suite applications
• Assisting with dropping off outdated keys or IDs and retrieving new ones
• Collaborating with makerspace staff to update systems and equipment
• Assist with web-based tutorial updates
