Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II to support patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, vital signs, and mobility within the unit. You will assist with clerical tasks, maintain clean rooms, and observe patient conditions, following state Nurse Aide I/II scope and BLS requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ongoing RN program progress, and Nurse Aide registry listing.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently listed with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Currently in good standing in a Registered Nurse academic program.
• Junior year completion or equivalent for Nurse Extern program.

Aufgaben

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients/residents per procedures.
• Maintains patient/resident rooms in clean, orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
• Orients patients/families to unit and safety measures.
• Assists with clerical duties and data entry.
• Maintains inventory of stock supply items.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks per state Board of Nursing lists.
• Performs 12-lead ECG and routine venipuncture with proper training.
