Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II to support patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and assist with mobility and personal care. The role includes maintaining clean rooms, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to the care team.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I & II certification, and Basic Life Support. The position offers benefits and training opportunities within a large health system.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II certification is required before start date.
Current Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to procedures.
Maintains patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
Orients patients/families to unit and safety procedures.
Assists with clerical work such as answering phones, data entry and maintaining medical records.
