  • Copywriting Support: Assist in drafting and organizing marketing copy, internal and external emails, and promotional outlines under the guidance of the Director.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with the full-time CATF marketing team to support pre-season planning materials and digital organization.

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Student Marketing and Communications Assistant provides light, foundational administrative and creative support to the department director during the planning and preparation phase of the Contemporary American Theater Festival. This is an internal support role focused on digital content, social media planning, and asset creation. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, brings strong copywriting skills, and has a solid foundation in Canva, social media management, and basic video editing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Planning: Assist the Director in drafting social media calendars, scheduling posts, and organizing digital assets for upcoming campaigns.
  • Content Creation & Video Edits: Create light promotional graphics using Canva and assist with basic video edits for internal review and upcoming promotional planning.
  • Copywriting Support: Assist in drafting and organizing marketing copy, internal and external emails, and promotional outlines under the guidance of the Director.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with the full-time CATF marketing team to support pre-season planning materials and digital organization.
Minimum Qualifications
