Job summary

The University of Oklahoma Library Makerspace in the Bizzell Memorial Library seeks a student assistant to greet patrons, demonstrate equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and guide users through workflows for 3D scanning, 3D printing, Virtual Reality, Cricut cutting, and related design processes. Students will receive hands-on training to ensure they can support patrons and maintain equipment.

• Operate and maintain technology to expected standards.
• Keep the space a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Demonstrate oral and written communication skills for patrons with varying tech levels.
• Help patrons envision new and innovative ways to use OU Libraries.
• Other duties as assigned.
