Job summary

GOTAFE seeks an energetic undergraduate student in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering to join our team in Columbus, OH. You will lead high-impact projects, coordinate downtime, and support Lean and TPM initiatives while developing maintenance workstreams and optimizing operations.

You'll gather savings data, analyze downtime, and collaborate across departments to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university.
• Majors in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact projects across the site and coordinate downtime and improvements.
• Support TPM implementation and Lean activities including Kaizen events.
• Develop and improve maintenance workstreams and day-to-day operations.
• Prepare specifications, docs, and test processes for equipment and materials.
• Collect savings data and analyze downtime to drive efficiency.
