Job summary

Notre Dame in Burlington, MA seeks an undergraduate student to support maintenance and reliability initiatives. You will write work instructions and preventive maintenance documents, develop PowerPoint presentations and one-point lessons, and build pivot tables to analyze downtime and performance data.

You will assist with TPM implementation and Lean activities, participate in Continuous Improvement events, and help develop autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in a Manufacturing-related field.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven and adaptable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and AI tools (CoPilot/ChatGPT).
• US work authorization for full-time employment in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Write work instructions and preventive maintenance documents.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and one-point lessons.
• Develop pivot tables and analyze data.
• Review equipment manuals and write instructions.
• Assist with TPM and Lean activities including Kaizen events.
• Develop, implement and improve autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams.
• Complete project development tasks including specifications, documentation, testing, and validation.
• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methods.
