Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) seeks a Student Maintenance Assistant in Bowie, MD. The role supports daily maintenance tasks and ensures smooth operations within student housing facilities.

Responsibilities include repairs, inventory, and basic administrative duties, with a compensation of $16.50 per hour and a limit of 30 hours per week. This student-non-exempt position suits individuals able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
• Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and navigate up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Replacing air filters.
• Replacing batteries in electronic locks.
• Assist with maintaining organization and inventory of supplies in the Maintenance Shops and storage closets.
• Assist with the moving of all the furniture out of each apartment (stoves, beds, refrigerators, desk, sofa and chairs etc.).
• Notify supervisor Respond and report situations needing attention.
• Participate in training and administrative tasks.
• Perform administrative duties in a thorough and timely manner
• Attend all meetings and events as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
