Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking a Student Lighting Technician to provide lighting support for Boston Conservatory productions and events on campus.

Responsibilities include hanging, focusing, operating the ETC Ion console, and serving as a light board operator for Mainstage productions. Must be located in the U.S. and enrolled in the Berklee program with valid SSN and visa status where applicable.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with theatrical production procedures and policies.
• Comfort working on ladders/at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Excellent punctuality and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, wire and focus lighting instruments, including LED and moving fixtures.
• Participate in focuses with professional Lighting Designers.
• Operate lighting console (ETC Ion) for hangs, focuses, rehearsals, and performances.
• Serve as a light board operator for Mainstage productions.
• Participation in lighting strike at the end of production.
