Job summary

Berklee College of Music seeks a Floating Concert Operations Stage Manager to assist with technical production and maintenance for concerts, clinics, recitals and events on and off campus. You will work with Berklee venues, support load-in/load-out, operate lighting and sound, and help with stage and equipment maintenance.

The role requires strong technical abilities, good interpersonal skills, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of theater equipment including lighting, sound, and electrical systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical and sound reinforcement needs for Berklee venues and off-campus events.
• Operate venue lighting and sound equipment.
• Support load-in/load-out and setup of equipment for college shows and events.
• Assist with spotlight operations, maintenance, and electrical distribution, plus related production needs.
• Maintain, repair, and install concert sound and lighting gear; report issues to the Associate Director of Production.
