Berklee College of Music is seeking a Temporary Production Electrician to support lighting for Rake’s Progress at the Wimberly Theatre. The role covers hang, focus, and strike with the Lighting Supervisor and collaborates with faculty, guests, and students through May 3, 2027.

Most work may be done remotely with on-site presence from late March through mid-April 2027. Nights and weekends are required; the position begins in spring 2027 for a limited term.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years professional theatrical electrician / master electrician experience.
• Experience in multidisciplinary performing arts is preferred.
• Experience working in higher education institutions preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Lighting Supervisor on all lighting hang, focus, and strike calls.
• Coordinate with Lighting Supervisor on coverage of technical rehearsals, including weekends and evenings.
• Ensure lighting production notes are completed during technical rehearsals and disseminated.
• Maintain and repair lighting equipment as needed or coordinate repairs.
• Assist supervising electrics crew.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping measures are observed by all under their direction.
