Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks a Student Success Assistant to support the University Honors Program by promoting student engagement, academic success, and community connections. Qualifications

• Equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• CSU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support University Honors Program student experiences alongside UHP Staff and help organize key UHP events such as Day at the Beach, Symposia, Graduation, New Student Welcome events, and Collaborative Events with Campus Partners.
• Support UHP student leaders with events and the publication of The Honor Code magazine and assist UHPSA & HPMP as needed.
• Answer student questions and direct them to other campus services (tutoring, CAPS, writing center, etc.).
• Support office operations including creating and uploading the honors course schedule, managing thesis submissions, and promoting student events.
