Job summary

California State University, Long Beach is seeking a Student Success Assistant in the University Honors Program. The role focuses on fostering student engagement, academic success, and community connection through signature events and collaboration with campus partners.

You will organize major UHP events, support student leaders with programming and the Honor Code publication, and guide students to tutoring, CAPS, and career resources. Temporary, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to three years of administrative support experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• CSU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize key UHP events including Day at the Beach, Symposia, Graduation, New Student Welcome events, and Collaborative Events with Campus Partners.
• Support student leaders with events and the publication of The Honor Code magazine.
• Help answer current and future student questions, emails, and inquiries; direct students to other staff.
• Support office operations including uploading honors course schedules and managing thesis submissions.
