Howard University is seeking a Program Coordinator for Student Life Operations to support student life initiatives. You will advise student organizations, coordinate registration, events, and funding, and manage communications and engagement platforms across campus.

The role emphasizes leadership development, collaboration with campus partners, and adherence to university policies, with a focus on delivering high-quality student experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience in student affairs or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Workday.
• Experience with student engagement platforms (e.g., ENGAGE, Campus Labs).

Responsibilities

• Advise and support registered student organizations, fostering leadership development and engagement.
• Coordinate operational processes for registration, events, funding, and risk management.
• Develop fundraising strategies and secure resources to support student life programs.
• Oversee the Parent Portal communications to families and supporters.
• Administer and optimize ENGAGE platform, managing student org profiles and events.
• Develop and manage communications for programs and the Yearbook in collaboration with editors and staff.
• Enforce policies per the Student Code of Conduct.
