Tulane University is seeking a student assistant to work at the Tulane Library Annex and Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. The role includes shelving, catalog-related tasks, and supporting special projects, with transportation required to multiple library locations.
Hours are up to 20 per week, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hourly rate ranges from $10.00 to $18.00, and a Federal Work Study award may be available.
This position is for a student assistant to work at Tulane Library Annex and at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. The Annex is a remote storage facility located at 900 S Norman C Francis Parkway. The work entails assisting with shelving or retrieving materials, shifting collections as needed, and completing basic work in the library's online catalog to ensure materials are correctly identified as being housed at the Annex. Assisting with special projects related to the facility will be a primary function of this position. This job does require the student to have transportation available to get to the Library Annex and to Howard-Tilton Memorial library as needed.
Students should be able to work a max of 20 hours per week. Shifts to be determined.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $18.00
