Job summary

Utah Valley University is seeking a part-time staff member to support student government programs, leadership development, and campus engagement initiatives. You will work with student leaders planning election campaigns, meetings, and events that shape campus life, gaining hands-on experience in leadership and program management.

The role involves 10–15 hours per week on campus, offering exposure to student involvement, event coordination, and mentorship opportunities within higher education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience mentoring or instructing small groups is preferred.
• Knowledge of student involvement and leadership principles emphasized.
• Ability to coordinate programs and manage projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and event facilitation for student body officer elections.
• Execute projects to improve student government experience.
• Advise and mentor student leaders with the Director’s guidance.
• Develop election packets including rules and resources.
• Perform other duties to support the Department of Student Leadership and Involvement.
