Job summary

Daytona State College is seeking a student worker to support AI laboratory activities on campus. You will assist in labs, test and document exercises, and help students during classes.

Eligible candidates must be enrolled in at least 6 credits, meet SAP or maintain a 2.0 GPA, and be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. This role is up to 20 hours per week, requires professional conduct and confidentiality, and involves collaboration with a supervising professor and other student workers.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must currently meet SAP or maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Transient and Dual Enrollment students are ineligible for student employment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the supervising professor to receive guidance, report progress, and discuss project needs.
• Complete and prepare AI laboratory exercises, including testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Coordinate and assist in running AI labs during classes and supporting students during lab sessions
• Participate in poster sessions and other research dissemination activities, which may include preparing posters, presenting findings, and engaging with attendees.
• Collaborate with other student workers and team members to design, develop, and implement new AI laboratory modules and experiments.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the AI laboratory infrastructure and educational resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the professor in support of the grant objectives.
