Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a Student Intervention Specialist to develop and monitor individualized behavioral health programs for students in a school setting. The SIS collaborates with teachers to implement PBSPs, collect data, and adjust interventions to promote positive outcomes.

The role requires a high school diploma, ASL proficiency within two years, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• ASL proficiency within two years of employment for the School for the Deaf where applicable.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance for all locations except Satellite programs.
• Experience working with youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral health plans for students.
• Assist the classroom teacher in PBSP development and monitoring.
• Supervise assigned students during the school day and ensure safety.
• Maintain documentation of progress notes, data collection, and interdisciplinary reviews.
• Provide occasional in-service training and participate in program committees.
