ISO New England is seeking a rising senior for an Enterprise Architecture Documentation & Visibility Internship. You will help map the technology powering New England, documenting portfolios, data relationships, and architecture standards while pairing with experienced architects.

You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise-scale ecosystems, Ardoq, CMDB data quality, and reporting, with mentoring and exposure to the energy industry.

Qualifications

• Rising Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

You’ll work alongside experienced architects, gain exposure to enterprise-scale technology ecosystems, and help build the documentation, insights, and visibility that support smarter technology decisions across the organization.

The Enterprise Architecture team partners directly with software development teams, project teams, and business leaders to design practical technology solutions and guide important technical decisions.

We help the organization understand and manage its technology landscape by providing visibility into:

• Application portfolios
• Technology platforms
• System integrations
• Data relationships
• Architecture standards
• Technology roadmaps

Our work helps ensure technology investments align with business needs and long‑term organizational goals.

What You’ll be Working On

As an Enterprise Architecture Documentation & Visibility Intern, you’ll work directly with Enterprise and Solutions Architects on projects that improve how technology information is documented, managed, and shared across the organization.

Depending on business priorities and your interests, you may contribute to:

• Application portfolio management initiatives
• CMDB (Configuration Management Database) data quality improvements
• Architecture documentation and repository managementTechnology standards development
• Application integration and dependency mapping
• Enterprise Architecture tool onboarding and adoption
• Reporting and automation initiatives

You’ll gain hands‑on experience analyzing technology ecosystems and helping create a clearer picture of how systems, applications, and business processes connect.

This employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position (ex: H-1B, F-1/CPT/OPT, O-1, E-3, TN, J, etc.).

The expected hourly range for this position is $19-$36 per hour, depending on your year in college. Interns are eligible for some paid time off benefits and have access to our wellness program. Our internships also provide interns with exposure to the energy industry, mentorships, and real‑world experience.

This is a U.S. based role. If the successful candidate resides outside of the U.S., relocation will be required.

To be eligible for an internship with ISO New England, a candidate must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program. Candidates must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.
