Job summary

Entergy is offering an internship in the Capital Projects New Generation group for Spring 2027. You will gain hands-on PMO experience assisting with documentation, reporting, onboarding, and process improvements across large capital projects.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Admin, or Project Management, and must be enrolled full-time with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Onsite placement in The Woodlands, TX, up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Currently enrolled full-time and past sophomore year completed.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO initiatives with project documentation, reporting, meeting coordination, and action item tracking.
• Assist with development and improvement of PMO processes, templates, and standards.
• Support onboarding by organizing training materials and orientation resources.
• Perform research and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for decision-making.
• Assist Commercial Management and Logistics with data collection and document management.
• Maintain organized and current project files.
• Identify opportunities to standardize PMO practices and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to support capital project execution.
• Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Summary/Purpose

Provides project management and business support to Capital Projects New Generation. Assists with project coordination, process improvement initiatives, onboarding activities, documentation, reporting, and administrative support for project management, commercial management, and heavy haul logistics functions. Gains practical experience supporting large capital projects while working under the guidance of experienced project professionals.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Supports PMO initiatives by assisting with project documentation, reporting, meeting coordination, and action item tracking.
• Assists with the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of project management processes, procedures, templates, and standards.
• Supports onboarding activities by organizing training materials, maintaining reference documents, and assisting with new employee orientation resources.
• Performs research, gathers data, and prepares reports, presentations, and dashboards to support PMO initiatives and management decision-making.
• Assists Commercial Management and Logistics teams with data collection, document management, and process coordination as assigned.
• Maintains project files and ensures documentation is organized, accurate, and current.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and assists with implementing standardized practices across the PMO.
• Collaborates with project managers and functional teams to support ongoing capital project execution and strategic initiatives.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Seeking students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management,, or a related discipline.
• Must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university and have completed at least their sophomore year.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above
